Adzido is Europe's leading traditional African dance company and was founded in 1984 by George Dzikunu initially to train people in the skills of African dance and drumming.

Adzido mission

Adzido seeks to promote the richly diverse heritage of cultural groups in black Africa by presenting dance and music together with contemporary theatrical design. This combination allows the authenticity of Africa to be presented with integrity and relevance to Western cultures.

Adzido performance

Adzido tour annually in the UK and abroad with a full large scale theatrical performance but have the flexibility to appear also in small scale venues, at festivals, for showcases and in schools. For information on booking performances contact Amanda Davis.
